Meet our Cast:
ARISTOTLE STAMAT as Johnny, a veteran aged beyond his years who has recently returned from Iraq. A highly trained service member, sharpshooter, and born leader, he’s confident and cool under pressure. After multiple tours in Iraq, Johnny has to face a series of new challenges as a civilian -- his convoluted memories, a surprising guest, and the war-zone of New York City’s Streets. Forced to call upon all his internal resources and training, he finds himself shaken and wracked with guilt and pain.
GIUSEPPE BAUSILIO as Abdullah, 16. Abdullah is an Iraqi teenager who spends his days caring for his ailing mother. Sharp, kind and observant, he seems to have wisdom beyond his years.
TOLGA POLAT as Nasseem, a Yemeni immigrant who works a coffee cart on the streets of New York. He has a Yemeni accent but is fully integrated into the American way of life. He loves the Nicks and works hard to provide for his family. He doesn’t let racial stereotyping interfere with his firm belief in the American dream.
